Step Into Puyu Sacha — Where the Cloud Forest Comes Alive
Deep in the heart of Peru's Central Amazon, where the Andes dissolve into mist and the forest never sleeps, lies a place that few have ever seen — and none have forgotten.
Puyu Sacha is not a destination. It is an experience. A living, breathing ecosystem where ancient trees rise through the clouds, crystalline waterfalls cascade into hidden valleys, and the calls of rare birds echo through the canopy at dawn. Every trail holds a discovery. Every corner of the forest tells a story millions of years in the making.
Watch the mist roll in. Feel the forest breathe. Hear the waterfall before you see it. This is what it means to be truly immersed in nature — raw, untouched, and extraordinary.
Whether you come to explore, to research, or simply to witness one of Peru's most extraordinary cloud forests, Puyu Sacha will change the way you see the natural world.
Come and discover it for yourself.
Where We Are
Puyu Sacha is located in the province of Chanchamayo, Junín Region, Peru, within the mist-covered Andean montane cloud forest ecosystem at the transition between the Andes and the Amazon basin.
Nestled along the eastern slopes of the Andes, the reserve forms part of one of the most biodiverse corridors in central Peru.
The area is accessible by road from Lima via the Central Highway (approximately 6–7 hours).
